The symposium is a recurring cultural, intellectual, and scientific project, held every three months with participation from intellectuals and experts, aimed at discussing and proposing solutions to social issues and negative phenomena affecting individuals, society, and the nation.
The focus of the upcoming seminar is understanding revelation as a cornerstone of knowledge production in Islamic civilization. The seminar will cover three main subjects. The first subject examines the roots and foundations of knowledge production in Islamic civilization through sub-themes exploring the relationship between revealed and rational knowledge, integration of these sources, and the role of revelation in guiding intellectual understanding of the universe.
The second subject addresses the principles that sustain intellectual contribution in Islamic civilization. This includes the necessity of employing reason in understanding religious texts to maintain scholarly output. It also stresses the importance of establishing a qualified religious reference body from various scientific and knowledge fields, guiding intellect toward creativity within the framework of revelation knowledge.
Finally, the third subject formulates a future-oriented vision for knowledge production, exploring its development prospects through the interaction of revelation and rational understanding. It proposes mechanisms for disciplined and sustained knowledge production grounded in revelation.
