New zealand: An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale struck, on Sunday, off the east coast of New Zealand's North Island.
According to Qatar News Agency, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported that the quake occurred at a depth of 53 kilometers. There have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake so far.
