Doha: Lebanon condemned Tuesday in the strongest terms the Israeli aggression against the State of Qatar, considering it a flagrant violation of its sovereignty and a blatant breach of international laws and norms.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement, the Lebanese Prime Minister's Office expressed its full solidarity with the State of Qatar, its leadership, government, and people, in confronting this blatant aggression, renewing its call for the international community to shoulder its responsibilities in putting an end to the repeated Israeli attacks that threaten security and stability in the entire region.
For his part, Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun said in a separate statement, said that the brutal attack violated the sovereignty of a sisterly Arab state, and was part of a series of attacks committed by Israel and demonstrates its determination to undermine all efforts exerted to achieve stability and security in the countries of the region and the safety of their peoples.
He reiterated his country's solidarity with the State of Qatar and its support for it in condemning this criminal aggression. He called on the international community to put an end to Israeli practices that continue to violate all international laws and agreements, and obstruct every commendable effort made by the State of Qatar to bring peace to the region and put an end to the suffering of the Palestinian people.
