Kuwaiti National Guard Shoots Down Two Drones Amid Rising Tensions

Kuwait: The Kuwaiti National Guard announced Tuesday that its task force shot down two drones in the past 24 hours in areas under its responsibility for securing them. Brigadier General Dr. Jadan Fadel, the official spokesperson for the National Guard, stated in a press release that this action is part of efforts to enhance security, protect vital sites, and counter potential threats.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense reported that the armed forces detected and engaged five ballistic missiles and seven hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace during the past 24 hours. These threats were managed in accordance with established procedures.

Brigadier General Fadel urged the public to follow the security and safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities as part of ongoing efforts to maintain stability and safety in the region. The actions of the National Guard and the Ministry of Defense underscore a heightened vigilance in response to potential threats to national security.
