Kuwait Defense Ministry Says It Tracked, Intercepted Iranian Missiles and Drones

Doha: The armed forces have tracked ballistic missiles and hostile one-way attack drones that intruded into Kuwaiti airspace since dawn on Sunday and have been intercepted, the Kuwaiti Defense Ministry said. Col. Staff Saud Al Atwan, the ministry's official spokesperson, highlighted that the Iranian aggression continues to target critical civilian facilities in the country. The attacks specifically targeted several vital utilities, including facilities of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, leading to fires and significant damage.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Atwan assured that the armed forces are committed to maintaining their duties efficiently as part of their permanent readiness. They are taking essential measures to protect state security in collaboration with relevant authorities to ensure the safety of citizens and residents.
