Kuwait Condemns Israeli Incursions and Shelling in Southern Syria

Doha: Kuwait has condemned continued Israeli violations inside Syrian territory, including recent incursions and shelling of the southern provinces of Quneitra and Daraa.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement issued on Monday, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry said the actions represented a serious breach of international agreements and efforts aimed at maintaining regional stability. The ministry highlighted that these ongoing practices undermined initiatives designed to preserve security and stability in the region and demonstrated a disregard for relevant international agreements, including the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.

Kuwait reaffirmed its longstanding position in support of Syria's sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity. The statement emphasized the necessity of respecting international laws and agreements to ensure peace and stability in the region.
