Kuwait Announces Containment of Two Blazes After Iranian Attacks

Doha: The Kuwaiti authorities reported Saturday that they had contained two fires that broke out at two different sites due to Iranian attacks. Firefighters extinguished the two blazes with support from oil sector teams at the first site, stated the official spokesperson for the General Fire Force, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Al Ghareeb. He noted that three teams were involved in containing the fire at the second site.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Ghareeb clarified that the incident at the first site resulted in several firefighters being injured, along with an oil sector worker, after the site was targeted again during firefighting operations. First aid was administered to them before they were transported to the hospital.

Al Ghareeb further explained that the firefighting force managed three separate fires caused by falling debris in various residential areas. He emphasized that the force successfully contained these fires, with damages limited to material losses and no human casualties reported.
