Doha: A Palestinian woman and her daughter were killed and several others were injured on Monday night in a renewed Israeli occupation forces strike targeting Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that the woman and her 1-year-old daughter died when an Israeli strike hit tents sheltering displaced people in the Al Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis. Hospital officials in Gaza announced that the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli airstrikes and shelling across various areas of the Gaza Strip since Monday morning had risen to eight, including women and children.
