Israeli Forces Clash with Palestinians in Jenin Camp, Resulting in Two Deaths

Jenin: Two Palestinians were killed and others were injured by Israeli occupation forces' fire on Monday in Jenin camp, north of the occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the two deceased were boys aged 14 and 17, who were shot while attempting to enter the camp to inspect their homes.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry also detailed that emergency crews responded to a 22-year-old man injured by live bullets in the abdomen, transporting him to a hospital for further treatment. Additionally, a 12-year-old girl sustained a hand injury after being pursued by occupation soldiers and was also provided with medical assistance.

Local sources indicated that the Israeli forces arrested several individuals and detained them at a military barracks within the camp. They also reportedly set a house on fire amidst heavy gunfire. The sources further noted that the death toll in Jenin has increased to 47 since the beginning of the Israeli occupation's aggression on January 21, which has also impacted surrounding towns and villages.

The ongoing aggression has led to the complete destruction of over 600 homes in Jenin camp and partial demolition of approximately 1,000 housing units. This has resulted in the displacement of nearly 22,000 camp residents to the city and nearby towns and villages within the governorate.
