Iraqi Premier Asserts Support for Lebanon’s Unity and Sovereignty

Rafah: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani affirmed his country's support for Lebanon's unity and sovereignty, rejecting attacks on its territory. Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani expressed his firm stance during a phone call with Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun on Tuesday. According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation between the two leaders focused on regional and global developments amid the ongoing war in the Middle East. They highlighted the necessity of enhancing joint Arab coordination to tackle existing challenges and emphasized the creation of favorable conditions to end the regional conflict. Both leaders agreed on the importance of achieving stability by supporting dialogue and diplomatic solutions to resolve crises, ensuring the sovereignty of states and the security of their territories.
