Khan Yunis: Several Palestinians were injured Wednesday after an Israeli drone shelled a tent inside a school housing displaced people in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, the situation escalated further as Israeli tanks fired at Palestinian homes in the Qizan al-Najjar area, also located south of Khan Yunis. The occupation forces additionally targeted areas in northeastern Gaza City with artillery shelling.
In a separate incident, Israeli aircraft attacked tents housing displaced individuals in the Port of Gaza last night, resulting in the deaths of seven civilians, including children, and causing injuries to others.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has been involved in military actions in Gaza, leading to more than 179,000 casualties, including deaths and injuries, with the majority being children and women. Furthermore, over 11,000 individuals remain missing, and the conflict has resulted in the displacement of hundreds of thousands of people.
