Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani sent cables of condolences on Wednesday to HE President of the Republic of India Droupadi Murmu, and HE Prime Minister Narendra Modi, regarding the victims of the floods that affected several northeastern states of the country, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani also sent cables of condolences to HE President Droupadi Murmu and HE Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Deputy Amir expressed his sympathies for the victims of the floods that struck the northeastern regions of India and wished for the quick recovery of those injured.
The floods have caused significant damage and loss in India, prompting international figures to extend their support and condolences to the Indian leadership.
