Hot, Hazy Weather Expected Today

Doha: Inshore weather until 6:00 pm on Thursday will be hot to very hot daytime, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will be hazy at first, the report added.

According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be variable at first, becoming northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 05 – 15 KT. Offshore, the wind will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly at a speed of 03 – 13 KT. The sea state inshore will be 1 – 2 feet, while offshore it will be 1 – 3 feet.

Visibility inshore is expected to be between 5 – 10 km, while offshore visibility will range from 4 – 9 km.

High and low tide timings, as well as temperature ranges for various areas, have been provided. In Doha, high tides are expected at 04:40 and 18:41, with low tides at 01:31 and 12:14. Temperatures will range from a minimum of 29°C to a maximum of 43°C. Similarly, Mesaieed will experience high tides at 05:47 and 20:37, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 41°C. In Wakrah, high tides are at 04:42 and 19:50, and temperatures will range from 28°C to 38°C. Al Khor will have high tides at 18:19 and 06:38, with temperatures between 24°C and 44°C. Ruwais will experience high tides at 06:38 and 18:38, with a temperature range of 23°C to 37°C. Dukhan will see high tides at 11:42 and 23:49, with temperatures from 25°C to 40°C. Lastly, Abu Samra will experience high tides at 03:50 and 08:09, with temperatures ranging from 22°C to 41°C.

Sunrise is expected at 04:43 LT and sunset at 18:18 LT.
