Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a telephone call today from HH President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. At the beginning of the call, HH the President of the UAE inquired about the conditions in the State of Qatar following Iranian attacks, reiterating his country's solidarity with Qatar in all measures it takes to protect its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Amir expressed his appreciation for this fraternal stance, affirming Qatar's solidarity with the UAE in safeguarding its sovereignty, security, and stability. The conversation addressed the latest developments in the region amid continued Iranian aggression and its repercussions on regional and international stability. Both leaders emphasized the importance of ongoing coordination and consultation between their countries, along with strengthening joint work and cooperation to address the current challenges.
Both sides highlighted the necessity of an immediate halt to military escalation and preventing its expansion. They called for intensified regional and international efforts to reduce tension, stop the attacks, and prioritize dialogue and diplomacy to contain the crisis and preserve regional and international peace and security.
