Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani led the farewell of HH President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as he departed from Doha International Airport. The UAE President concluded a visit to Qatar, accompanied by a delegation.
According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Personal Representative of HH the Amir, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, was also present to see off the UAE President. Additionally, the farewell was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani, HE Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, along with other senior officials.
HH the President of the UAE was accompanied by HH Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, along with several ministers and officials. The visit underscored the fraternal ties between Qatar and the UAE.
