Fire Extinguished at Kuwaiti Power Station After Iranian Attack

Kuwait: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced that a fire, which erupted at one of its power generation and water distillation plants due to an attack by Iran, has been successfully extinguished. The incident resulted in significant disruptions to numerous electricity generation units.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry revealed that emergency plans were immediately activated to mitigate the effects of the attack and ensure the stability of the electrical grid. The Kuwaiti Fire Force teams efficiently controlled the fire, while emergency and technical teams from the ministry, in collaboration with relevant authorities, commenced a thorough assessment of the damage.

Efforts are underway to secure the plant and expedite the restoration of the affected units to full service. The ministry emphasized the importance of these measures to maintain the reliability of electricity supply across the region.
