The Energy Police forces seized a den for recycling oil derivatives, and arrested four suspects in Al-Muthanna Governorate.
A statement by the Ministry of the Interior stated: “Police detachments, in coordination with the intelligence and personnel security units, raided a den for smuggling oil derivatives, arrested four suspects, and found large tanks filled with oil products of unknown quantity and quality, in addition to two vehicles that were in the possession of the defendants in the governorate of Double".
He explained that the seizures were seized and the accused were placed in detention in preparation for completing the investigative procedures and presenting them to the competent judiciary in accordance with Law No. 41 of 2008 on combating smuggling of oil and its derivatives.
