Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed Sunday's trading session higher by 197.12 points, or 1.92 percent, reaching 10,461 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 149,059,115 shares were traded during the session, with a total value of QAR 386,470,866.144 through 16,844 transactions across all sectors. The shares of 48 companies advanced, while those of four other companies declined, with the shares of two companies remaining unchanged.
Market capitalization at the close of trading stood at QAR 628,803,352,020.320 compared to QAR 616,719,940,601.066 in the previous session.
