Doha: Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Tuesday under heavy protection from Israeli police.
According to Qatar News Agency, the settlers entered the compound through the Mughrabi Gate, toured its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals in its eastern section while Israeli forces maintained heightened security measures.
Israeli police also imposed restrictions on Palestinian worshipers seeking to enter the mosque, including limiting access, barring some from entering, and confiscating identity cards at the compound's gates to facilitate the settlers' incursions, WAFA added.
