Doha: The death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has risen to 4,278, with 12,196 people wounded since March 2, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement, the ministry's Emergency Operations Center reported that the cumulative toll from the offensive had reached 4,278 fatalities and 12,196 injuries.
Lebanon and Israel had previously signed a US-brokered framework agreement that outlines several measures, including security arrangements, the redeployment of the Lebanese Armed Forces, and the reconstruction of damaged areas. The agreement also includes initiatives to revive Lebanon's economy, establish direct communication channels between the two nations, and implement confidence-building steps aimed at achieving lasting peace.
