Daam Wraps Up Respect Campaign with Success

Doha: The Behavioral Healthcare Center (Daam), a member of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, has successfully concluded its awareness campaign focused on the principle of respect, which was launched in April.

According to Qatar News Agency, the initiative was held in cooperation with the Qatar Scouts and Guides Association, the QatarDebate Center, and Al Thuraya Planetarium – Katara. The campaign’s activities culminated at Al Obaib Primary School for Girls, featuring participation from Sustainable Development Goals Ambassadors and various schools involved in the campaign.

The campaign engaged 1,200 students across primary, preparatory, and secondary levels from 45 schools. It provided a comprehensive suite of educational and awareness activities designed to instill the principle of respect in students. Activities included lectures on self-respect and respect for others, a film screening, relevant readings, and interactive quizzes. Additionally, there was a puppet theater performance addressing self-confidence and respect, as well as drawing and coloring activities. Students also designed instructional posters focused on respect and social responsibility.

The program concluded with a screening of a series titled “Family Diaries,” which showcased daily positive behavior. The campaign achieved widespread reach and success, strengthening partnerships among educational and community institutions. It underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in promoting morality and fostering a conscious and responsible new generation dedicated to community service and national contribution.
