Border Guard Agency seizes 62 illegal immigrants at the Libyan-Tunisian border.

The desert security patrols of the Border Guard Agency in charge of securing the Libyan-Tunisian borders seized 62 illegal immigrants of different African nationalities in separate groups stranded in the desert.

The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that health care was provided to the immigrants, and they were kept at the headquarters of the border security sector until they were referred to the competent authorities.

It’s noteworthy that the Libyan-Tunisian borders, which are secured by the desert security patrols of the agency, extend over a distance of 200 kilometers from Ras Ajdir to Wazen.
