Baghdad: One person was killed and three others were injured Sunday, as a result of the explosion of a bomb left behind by the ISIS organization in the Saada area, western Iraq. Local sources said that the four people were on a trip when the bomb exploded, killing one of them and injuring the other three to varying degrees. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to Qatar News Agency, the sources added that the Saada area is one of the areas filled with unexploded mines. The local sources urged citizens to adhere to guidelines and warnings, and not to enter unsecured areas or areas that have not been declared free of mines, stressing that ISIS remnants still pose a real threat to the lives of civilians, especially in desert and remote areas.
In a related incident, two people were killed and three others were injured today when a bomb left behind by ISIS detonated near shepherds in the Al Ayadiyah district, west of Mosul, northern Iraq.
