Arsenal: Arsenal FC announced Tuesday that they have extended the contract of French defender William Saliba until 2030, keeping him at the club for an additional five years.
According to Qatar News Agency, the club confirmed that the 24-year-old signed a new deal that will run through 2030. Arsenal praised Saliba’s technical abilities, which he has showcased since joining the team in July 2019 from Saint-Etienne. He has since played 140 matches in all competitions and has become a key figure in the team’s defense.
On the international stage, Saliba has earned 28 caps for the French national team since his first call-up. He was part of France’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and will also represent the team at UEFA Euro 2024.
Currently, Arsenal sits in second place in the 2025-2026 Premier League season, with 13 points, just two points behind league leaders Liverpool at the end of matchday six.
