Arab Forum Advocates for Arab-African AI Model Development

Doha: The first Arab forum for artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship concluded with a strong call for the development of an Arab-African AI model. This model aims to leverage the expertise and competencies from both Arab and African regions while taking into account their unique linguistic, cultural, and economic characteristics to bolster digital and technological sovereignty.

According to Qatar News Agency, the forum's participants recommended the creation of a sovereign Arab-African center dedicated to investments, data, and AI. This center would focus on collecting, analyzing, and processing economic and investment data from reliable sources, utilizing Arab and African expertise to support investment and decision-making processes.

Additionally, the forum emphasized the need for developing smart cities in the Arab and African regions. By incorporating AI, reliable data, and open models, these cities would empower investors and decision-makers to explore new opportunities and make more efficient investment choices.

The event was organized by the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) of the Arab League, under the theme 'role of AI in promoting entrepreneurship and building human capacities.' It attracted a select group of decision-makers, experts, entrepreneurs, academics, and specialists in AI and entrepreneurship.
