Al-Khadraa General Hospital, on Saturday, began performing 6 new heart catheterization operations in cooperation with a German team specialized in this area.
This comes as a continuation of the operation that the hospital previously conducted for the first time in Libya in the area of cardiac catheterization by implanting the aortic valve through the catheter, what is known as the TAVI process, which is the latest knowledge in valve replacement operations worldwide.
The GNU Ministry of Health stated that these operations, which are conducted by the hospital, are part of the internal indigenization treatment program launched by the Ministry.
