Chairman of the African Commission Moussa Faki discussed today with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz a number of issues including developments in Sudan.
Scholz is on a visit to Ethiopia. Faki said during the meeting that the African Commission is coordinating all efforts aiming for a settlement of the situation in Sudan. He added that the commission is focusing on implementing a ceasefire and improving the humanitarian situation in the country.
For his part, Scholz expressed his hope for a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
