A New “Truce” In Sudan

The two parties of the conflict in Sudan signed a new truce, which can be extended.

Al-Jazeera, quoting sources in the Saudi Foreign Ministry, said that the two parties to the conflict in Sudan signed a humanitarian truce in Jeddah for a period of 7 days, which can be extended.

According to these sources, a statement will be issued containing details of the agreement in Jeddah on a humanitarian truce in Sudan.

For his part, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said, on Saturday, that he had spoken with the Sudanese army commander, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, regarding the ongoing efforts to reach another short ceasefire in Sudan./ End
