Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund and QCPA Sign Cooperation Memorandum to Enhance Accounting and Auditing Practices

Doha: The Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund has entered into a memorandum of cooperation with the Qatar Association of Certified Public Accountants (QCPA). This agreement is designed to foster shared objectives and support collaborative efforts between the two entities, particularly in the domains of accounting and auditing expertise. The memorandum also seeks to advance cooperation in areas of mutual interest, initiate quality initiatives that fulfill both parties’ goals, and implement training programs in accounting, auditing, and related fields.

According to Qatar News Agency, the memorandum was signed by the Executive Director of the Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund, Kholoud Saif Al Kubaisi, and the Chairperson of QCPA, Dr. Hashim Al Sayed. The Executive Director lauded the efforts of QCPA and its commitment to community service, emphasizing that such collaborations are crucial for the Fund to strengthen its partnerships with institutions involved in social affairs. The Association, with its extensive experience in training, consulting, and expert work, is seen as a vital collaborator.

Dr. Al Sayed, the QCPA Chairperson, expressed gratitude towards the Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund for fostering communication and cooperation. He highlighted that the memorandum would serve as an additional asset to the Association, reinforcing its strategic partnerships with various institutions. Acknowledging the Fund’s significant efforts in promoting workers’ rights and improving living conditions, he stressed the importance of continued collaboration to enhance the competencies of accountants and financial professionals at the Fund.

The agreement is part of QCPA’s ongoing efforts to engage in professional communication and cooperation with state institutions.
