The World Health Organization announced that about 1.5 million people were infected with the “Corona” virus in the world during the period from July 10 to August 6, and the number of infections increased by 80% compared to the previous 28 days.
The organization stated that 149,210 cases of infection and 2,560 deaths were recorded in the world within 4 weeks.
It stressed that “Covid-19” “remains a significant threat” despite the end of the state of emergency, which was declared by the World Health Organization on May 5.
It pointed to the increase in the spread of the “Omicron” coronavirus mutant. Where it was monitored since August 9 in 48 countries.
