Doha: Weather inshore tonight until 6:00 am on Thursday will be mild, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will be fine, the report added, warning of expected strong wind and high sea at first.
According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be variable mainly northwesterly to southwesterly ranging from 03 to 13 KT. Offshore, the wind is expected to be northwesterly between 10 to 21 KT, gusting to 25 KT at times, before decreasing to 04 to 14 KT later in the night.
The report indicates that visibility will remain between 5 to 09 KM. The sea state inshore will range from 1 to 3 FT, whereas offshore, the sea will start at 3 to 8 FT, decreasing to 2 to 4 FT later on.
