London: Wage growth in the United Kingdom (UK) slowed during the three months to August, with the unemployment rate rising slightly.
According to Qatar News Agency, wage growth averaged 4.7 percent in the three months to August, down from 4.8 percent in the three months to July.
The data revealed that the number of job vacancies fell by 9,000, or 1.3 percent, during the three months to September.
The Office said this is the 39th consecutive period in which job vacancies have fallen compared to the previous three months.
