Uzbekistan’s President Discusses Jordanian FM Regional, International Issues

Tashkent: President of Uzbekistan, Dr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, met with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, who is currently visiting Tashkent, to discuss several regional and international issues of mutual interest.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two sides also reviewed ways to continue diplomatic engagement and expand cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, and culture. This meeting highlights the growing interest in strengthening bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Jordan, focusing on enhancing mutual economic and cultural ties.

Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister, Bakhtiyor Saidov, had earlier held talks with his Jordanian counterpart, concentrating on enhancing bilateral cooperation across various sectors. They also exchanged views on the latest regional developments, indicating a shared interest in addressing common challenges and opportunities in the region.
