Us stocks: US stock indices closed Thursday mixed. According to Qatar News Agency, the Standard and Poor's 500 index rose by 7.37 points, or 0.11 percent, to close at 6,582.69 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index also saw an increase, rising by 38.234 points, or 0.18 percent, to reach 21,879.182 points at the close of trading. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average experienced a decline, falling 61.07 points, or 0.13 percent, to close at 46,504.67.
