Major US stock indexes closed lower at the end of the trading session on Tuesday.
The S&P 500 lost 18.87 points, or 0.46%, to end at 4,119.25 points, while the Nasdaq Composite lost 77.36 points, or 0.63%, to 12,179.55.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 54.67 points, or 0.16%, to 33,564.02.
