US Presidential Elections: FBI Says Polling Stations Bomb Threats Not Credible.

Atlanta: The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has revealed that false bomb threats were sent to polling locations in several states, noting that many of these messages originated from Russian email domains. In a statement today, the FBI added that none of the threats have been deemed credible so far, emphasizing that the integrity of the presidential election is one of the Bureau’s top priorities.

According to Qatar News Agency, US authorities briefly evacuated at least two polling centers in Georgia today following false bomb threats. They were reopened approximately 30 minutes later. The FBI did not specify the states affected by the threats; however, an official stated in a press briefing that Georgia alone received more than 20 threats, most of them in Fulton County.

Voters in the United States headed to polling stations this morning to elect their 47th president, choosing between the candidates: Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump.
