Doha: The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) on Monday announced that thousands of babies in the Gaza Strip lack proper nutrition and are at risk of dying, stressing that: “Every minute counts in saving their lives.”
According to Qatar News Agency, UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell highlighted the catastrophic situation in the Strip via a post on X. She noted that the absence of proper nutrition puts thousands of infants at risk of death or permanent health damage.
