Ukrainian President Holds Russia Responsible for Power Outages in Overnight Attacks

Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday held the Russian military responsible for power outages in his country, following Russian overnight attacks on several districts.

According to Qatar News Agency, the attacks caused power outages in the Poltava, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions, leaving more than one hundred thousand households without electricity. Energy facilities were damaged due to this Russian bombardment, Zelensky posted on the X platform.

He reiterated his call upon his Western allies to support his country in its efforts to deter Russian expansion in eastern Ukraine.

The Russian military has so far announced conducting attacks on six Ukrainian districts overnight, whose troops took control of new cities in the east.
