Two Martyred, Dozens Injured by Israeli Occupation Gunfire in Rafah, Southern Gaza Strip

Rafah: Two Palestinians were martyred and dozens injured early on Saturday morning after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on a group of civilians attempting to reach an aid distribution center west of Rafah, in southern Gaza.

According to Qatar News Agency, rescue crews in Gaza recovered the bodies of two martyrs from under the rubble of a building that had been previously targeted by Israeli occupation airstrikes in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

The Israeli occupation continues its aggression across various areas of Gaza Strip. Warplanes and drones launched intensive strikes on the eastern parts of Jabalia town in the north, accompanied by artillery shelling targeting the northeastern areas of Jabalia refugee camp.

The bombardment and demolition of residential buildings also extended to Qizan al-Najjar and the town of Al-Qarara in Khan Younis Governorate, causing further destruction and forcing residents to flee their homes.

The Gaza Strip is witnessing a rapidly worsening humanitarian catastrophe, as international organizations warn of deteriorating living and health conditions amid ongoing Israeli aggression, blockade, and severe shortages of essential supplies.
