Thundery Rain, Strong Wind Expected Today

Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Monday will be hazy with scattered clouds at first and hot with a chance of local rainy clouds, maybe thundery by afternoon, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. The report warned of expected thundery rain associated with strong wind by afternoon. Offshore, it will be scattered clouds with hazy at times, the report added. Winds inshore will be southeasterly-northeasterly 05-15 KT, reaching 25 KT with thundery rain. Offshore, it will be southeasterly-northeasterly 05-15 KT. Sea state inshore will be 1-2 ft, while offshore will be 1-3 ft. Visibility inshore will be 4-9 km/3 km or less with thundery rain, while offshore will be 4-9 km.

According to Qatar News Agency, the weather forecast includes tide timings for different areas. In Doha, high tide is expected between 00:16-15:19 and low tide between 07:38-23:07, with temperatures ranging from 35 to 41 degrees Celsius. Dukhan will experience high tide from 07:28-19:48 and low tide from 01:14-13:29, with temperatures between 33 and 41 degrees Celsius. Mesaieed will see high tide at 17:15 and low tide at 08:35, with temperatures ranging from 34 to 40 degrees Celsius. Wakrah has high tide timings of 00:11-16:40 and low tide from 08:29-23:06, with temperatures between 35 and 39 degrees Celsius. Al Khor will experience high tide at 15:08 and low tide at 05:20, with temperatures from 35 to 41 degrees Celsius. Ruwais is expected to have high tide from 02:50-15:00 and low tide from 08:46-22:09, with temperatures between 33 and 37 degrees Celsius. Abu Samra will have high tide at 07:20-19:43 and low tide at 12:03, with temperatures between 33 and 31 degrees Celsius. The sunrise is expected at 05:05 LT, and sunset at 18:12 LT.
