Zawtar el gharbiyeh: Three Lebanese soldiers were injured in an ammunition explosion in southern Lebanon.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese Army reported that the soldiers were injured while working to dismantle unexploded ordnance in the town of Zawtar El Gharbiyeh. The incident resulted in one of the soldiers sustaining moderate injuries.
The Lebanese Army had been deployed to Zawtar El Gharbiyeh following the Israeli withdrawal from the town on July 21. This withdrawal was part of the framework agreement signed between Lebanon and Israel on June 26, marking Zawtar El Gharbiyeh as the first town from which Israeli forces withdrew.
