A security source in Kirkuk announced the arrest of three drug dealers, including a dealer who opened fire on the security forces after a pursuit that resulted in his injury.
He said, with a qualitative security operation and by obtaining intelligence information from the General Directorate for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances in the Directorate for Combating Narcotic Drugs in Kirkuk, based on intelligence information, a force from the Directorate of Narcotic Affairs and Psychotropic Substances Kirkuk of the Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency began carrying out a qualitative duty in Barood Khana area northeast of the city of Kirkuk
He added that there were clashes between the force and the drug dealers who were previously wanted by the judiciary, as the clashes ended with the arrest of three wanted drug dealers according to Article 28 / drugs, after one of the criminals was shot by the Kirkuk drug control and an amount estimated at about a kilo of narcotic substances, hashish and drugs were seized. The defendants have two pistols and a grenade, and searches are underway to pursue the rest of the defendants.
