The Turkish President announces an upcoming visit to Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia next week

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that he will visit Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia next week to strengthen relations with the Arab Gulf states, support trade exchange and expand the volume of investments with them.

The Turkish President said in a press statement during his return from Lithuania after his participation in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit that relations with the Arab Gulf countries must be strengthened, and that there are pledges from them to pump large investments in Turkey.

He indicated that he had received a phone call from the President of the Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed, in which the upcoming visit to the Arab Gulf countries was discussed.

He stressed that he had received a briefing from members of his government who had paid previous visits to the region, and that he would have the opportunity to obtain the support that these countries would provide to Turkey during his tour, especially since he sensed a willingness for more investments from Arab companies and investors.
