Baghdad -United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres warned that “without fundamental change, the people of Gaza will suffer an unprecedented barrage of humanitarian tragedies.”
Guterres said in a statement read by his spokesman, “Everyone must assume their responsibilities... It is the moment of truth, and history will judge us,” stressing that “the humanitarian system in Gaza faces complete collapse, with unimaginable consequences for more than two million civilians.”
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights confirmed that “the collective punishment imposed by the Zionist entity on the residents of Gaza through the siege and bombing of populated areas constitutes a war crime.”
