Baghdad - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned, in the strongest terms, the occupation authority’s bombing of the Community Baptist Hospital in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of innocent martyrs and wounded Palestinian citizens.
In a statement, the Ministry affirmed the solidarity of the government and people of Iraq with the people of Al-Quds Al-Sharif, and demanded an end to the hostile attacks on those safe areas there, which constitute a serious violation of the provisions of international and humanitarian law, and of the most basic human values.
It renewed its firm and principled position on the Palestinian issue, which was and still is a pivotal issue, and called on all countries of the world, especially the major and influential countries, to intervene to stop and condemn these violations, and to address their dangers, which are considered an imminent threat to collective security throughout the region.
