The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhibis Al-Saadawi, discussed today, Monday, with British Ambassador Mark Bryson the files of the European air embargo on the national carrier.
A statement by the Ministry of Transport stated that the Minister received, today, Monday, the British Ambassador, in the presence of the head of the Parliamentary Transport and Communications Committee, Zahra Al-Bajari, and discussed with him joint cooperation between Iraq and Britain, in addition to a review of the Ministry’s activities and files that top the priority of work in the ministerial curriculum.
The statement added that Al-Saadawi discussed, during the meeting, the files of the European air embargo on Iraqi airlines, the development road project and its economic importance to Iraq, the region and the world.
For his part, the British Ambassador expressed his country’s support for the efforts made by the Iraqi government to meet the aspirations of the Iraqi people for progress and prosperity, stressing his government’s support for the work of the Ministry of Transport and its strategic projects.
