The Minister of Interior, Abdu al-Amir al-Shammari, stressed the need to intensify work to serve citizens, coinciding with the advent of Eid al-Adha.
Al-Shammari said in a statement that, "In these blessed days, and with the advent of Eid al-Adha, may God restore it to the Islamic nation in general and the Iraqi people in particular, with goodness and blessings, I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani, and to our people throughout the geography of the homeland, and to all the knights and employees of our security services of all kinds.
He added, " Eid al-Adha calls on us to intensify work in order to serve citizens in various fields, and we are all confident that this indigenous people will stand by the security services in performing the duties and tasks that they carry out for the continuity of security in this pure homeland."
