The Ministry of Transport directed buses of the General Company for Passenger Transport to head to Najaf to participate in transporting visitors commemorating the death of the Great Prophet (PBUH).
A statement from the ministry stated, “Under the direct guidance of the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi, 150 buses will participate in the visit of the anniversary of the death of the Greatest Messenger (PBUH) in Najaf Al-Ashraf.”
The company’s general manager, Karim Kazem Hussein, said: The company’s fleet is honored to serve the visitors of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in Najaf, in commemoration of the death of the Great Prophet (PBUH), stressing the mobilization of all efforts to serve the honorable visitors within the axes specified by the ministry’s service plan.
Hussein noted that “the company’s technical and administrative personnel have also mobilized their full energies and capabilities for the purpose of accompanying the company’s fleet and contributing to transporting visitors arriving to Najaf .”
He pointed out that the company “has placed additional numbers of single- and double-decker buses as a backup effort for the peak days and hours of the blessed visit,” stressing that “the company has put in place the necessary plans to ensure the success of this mission.”
