Deputy Commander of Joint Operations Lieutenant General Qais Al-Muhammadawi, visited today, Tuesday, the Sulaymaniyah Governorate, at the head of a security delegation that included the Commander of the Ground Forces, senior officers and staff members in the Joint Operations Command.
Upon its arrival, the delegation met the leaders of the Peshmerga forces and senior officers in the Kurdistan Region, in the presence of the operations and division commanders and the axes commanders of the region's guard units.
The Deputy Commander of Joint Operations confirmed that the aim of this visit is to increase cooperation and coordination between the Iraqi army forces and the regional guard, pointing to the great development the joint relations witnessed based on teamwork.
He explained that cooperation has witnessed a great development in recent times, especially in the framework of combating terrorism and crime in all its forms, and exchanging intelligence and security information, stressing that the national destiny is one and that the men of Iraq have the strength to face challenges and overcome them./ End
