Baghdad, The Council of Ministers approved the reopening of the Malaysian Embassy in Iraq, based on the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations in 1961, and the provisions of the Foreign Service Law (45 of 2008), noting that Iraq has resident representation at the Embassy level in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
